Terms of Service

NatureClips AI is a web application that discovers publicly available nature footage published under a Creative Commons license, analyzes it, produces short vertical clips with captions and attribution, and — where you have connected an account — uploads those clips to TikTok on your behalf.

You may use the Service for lawful purposes only, to create and publish nature and educational short-form content from properly licensed source material. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) and, where you connect a TikTok account, be authorized to act for that account.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

The Service is designed to work only with source footage that carries a Creative Commons license permitting reuse. Automated license verification and attribution are provided as tools, not as a legal guarantee. Licensing information published on third-party platforms may be incorrect, incomplete, or changed by the uploader after discovery.

You agree not to circumvent, disable, or override the license verification and attribution features of the Service.

You are solely responsible for confirming that you have the right to use, modify, and publish any content you create or publish through the Service, and for complying with the terms of the applicable Creative Commons license — including attribution, share-alike, and non-commercial conditions where they apply.

You are responsible for any copyright claim, takedown, strike, or dispute arising from content you publish. Review each clip and its attribution before publishing.

Connecting TikTok is optional and performed through TikTok's official OAuth flow. By connecting an account you authorize the Service to upload clips you have approved and to read back post status and basic metrics, within the scopes you granted.

Your use of TikTok remains subject to TikTok's own terms and community guidelines. The Service is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by TikTok, YouTube, or Google. TikTok may change, restrict, or revoke API access at any time, which may limit or disable publishing features without notice. You may disconnect at any time from within the app or from your TikTok account settings.

The Service provides automated suggestions for hashtags, hooks, captions, and posting times based on available data. These are estimates only. We make no representation or guarantee regarding views, followers, engagement, monetization, reach, or any other outcome, and analytics shown in the Service are supplied by third-party platforms and may be delayed or inaccurate.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• publish content you are not licensed or authorized to publish;
• remove or falsify creator attribution or license information;
• publish spam, misleading, deceptive, hateful, harassing, sexual, or otherwise unlawful content;
• generate artificial engagement or otherwise violate TikTok's community guidelines;
• abuse, overload, scrape, reverse engineer, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its underlying providers;
• exceed or circumvent rate limits, quotas, or usage safeguards.

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Features may change, and access may be interrupted for maintenance, third-party outages, API quota limits, or circumstances outside our control. We do not guarantee uptime, uninterrupted processing, or the preservation of any specific clip or job.

You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account at any time by contacting [contact email address]. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms, abuses the Service, or creates legal or security risk. Where practical we will provide notice. On termination, access ends and associated data may be deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, account suspension or termination by a third-party platform, or copyright claims arising from content you publish. Our aggregate liability arising from or relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amounts you paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim, or USD 100.

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
